Well, its 2am the night before our Best of show for The Gentlemens Hour. I am pretty excited. I will be on the radio in about 5 hours. Hey, I am VERY excited because I just recently booked a weekend with one of my comedy heroes and friends, Greg Hahn! We will be at the Jukebox Comedy Club in Peoria, IL on Oct 5 and 6th. I am very excited. Hope everyone is well. I hope to see the Milwaukee lot of you tonight at the show at comedysportz!
Just a quick exciting note that the Gentlemen’s Hour will be on FM 102.1 on the Kramp & Adler show at 7:30am onFriday, July 27th, the day of our BEST OF show. I hope you check it out. Just posted a new video on the videos page. So far it is only available to view with quicktime. I think its funny. It was originally a sketch for The Gentlemen’s Hour which we performed a few shows back, but I thought it would be fun to try as a character in stand up. I had a BLAAAASST working with Tyler Kroll at one of my favorite club, The Comedy Club on State St in Madison, WI! I have been spoiled lately, working there, Goonies in Rochester, MN, and Morty’s in Indianapolis, IN. Man, 3 great clubs. I had a blast.
Hey, it’s 7-7-7! Today is my sister’s 30th birthday! Yup, she was born on 7-7-77!! Cool. I don’t really have much to say (if I removed every entry that included that line, I wouldn’t have too many entries) other than to say that it is almost 4am and I am in the hotel in Indianapolis performing this weekend with the very hilarious Daryl Lennox and the very funny Mel Fine. I figured I should update this page since I just paid for internet access here. It’s interesting what you will pay for at 4am. I have been here 2 days and kept deciding it was not worth it to pay for 24 hour access to the internet here. Now its 4am, I’m not tired, and decided “oh, what the heck?” I gotta be careful not to open iTunes or I may say “oh, what the heck?” and buy a bunch of Rihanna music videos. Yeah, I don’t think I will be opening iTunes. I bet surfing random porn sites will take my mind off of that. Good night, America.
Happy 4th of July, everybody!! I almost let a month go by without updating the ole’ girl. That was close. I’ve got quite a bit of roadwork in the upcoming months, which is great! I will be at Morty’s in Indianapolis this weekend with Daryl Lennox. I just got back from Rochester, MN where I was performing at Goonies. That is one of my favorite clubs. It is so weird how the town revolves totally around the Mayo Clinic so it seems so dead during the day… and night, actually, but somehow the club fills up and with such great audiences! It really is a spoiler room, much like Appleton, Madison, or the Milwaukee clubs. I will be performing at Zanies in Chicago in September which is a pretty big step considering I have been trying for years. I will be mc so if you are in the area, stop in and go fuck yourself. I’m kidding. That wasn’t a very nice thing to say, but I bet you weren’t expecting it! Well, I hope you all have a great fourth and that most of you are safe. I have decided to plug a video I have on my page that I really, really like. Its from a show I did at Marquette about a year and a half ago. Its just a little different, but I think its neat. I am planning on revamping the videos page. I know a lot of them are currently 4 years old so I am hoping to swap them in and out with more recent sets. (ie. Goonies) I just taped my sets at Goonies and am hoping to get some mileage out of that footage. Hopefully soon, I will have more headlining dates on my calender. I have found that windows media player is the most universal format for the files so that might take a little longer, but keep checking back.
