I love coming home to my mom’s house where I grew up.  I just felt so welcome.  My old bedroom was cleared out for a student that goes to the local college to live in and so I was fortunate enough to sleep in the porch-room where our old dog used to sleep.  They put a couch with a pull-out bed in there and I have to be honest, I would have rather slept on a ladder. I played Texas Hold em at a casino for the first time.  That was interesting.  I used to think I was pretty bad at Texas Hold em, but actually, it turns out I don’t really know how to play!    I gotta run.  Time for omelettes!

Today was a fantastic day.  I booked 3 gigs (possibly 5).  So things in the comedy department are going alright.  This past weekend I took a small break from performing to help my good buddy, Conor, move.  I know what you are thinking and, no, he isn’t gay.  It kinda sucks (not that he isn’t gay, but that he moved) because he moved to Chicago.  We used to be less than 10 minutes away from each other.  Now he’s probably almost an hour away.  He’s a great guy and it’s just sad that I will never ever see him or talk to him again for as long as I live.   Seriously, though,  I do hope to get down there a lot more and visit him and his wonderful wife and kids because I know I’ll miss em.  And as a side note, he would make a damn fine pharmaceutical rep!! (in case any drug company CEOs are reading this)  Godspeed, old friend… Godspeed!!

Well, I got a whole lot of nothing done today and hope to do the same tomorrow.  I realized something last night.  I usually can’t fall asleep unless I watch a horrible movie.  No offense to my douchebag buddy, Patrick, but he’s always a good source of VHS movies that should never have been made.  For example,  last night, I watched “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”  Some other borrowed videos include:  “David Blaine: Street Magic,” “A Cinderella Story,” “Stricken,”(which Patrick and my buddy Tyler are actually extras in) and “The Wrong Guys.”  I think tonight, instead of watching “Con-Air” I am going to re-read my brother’s script.  My brother, Scott, actually wrote this screenplay and instead of selling it, he is making it himself.  He lives out in LA, but he is shooting it in Omaha, NE.  So far he has shot for 3 days.  It is entitled “Bert.”  I have a part and will be heading out to Omaha for my cameo in 2 weeks.  It should be fun.  If you would like to take a look at what my sexy brother has done in the past, all you have to do is click on the following link: “http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0066381/

Also, I almost forgot, if anyone owns a copy of the new Harry Potter book, jump out a window.
