I am performing at the Comedy Cafe and call time is in about 50 minutes or so. I am pretty excited, as I have been less than satisfied with some recent shows I have had. Hopefully this weekend will recharge my battery. I think I am just gonna try to go rapid-fire through all of my favorite jokes in the first 3- 5 minutes and then just try to have fun through the rest. I may tape it for a demo for the Las Vegas Comedy Festival. Who knows. Anyway, I plan on reporting back to my site when I get home tonight. Attitude going into the show: Enthusiasm and excitement! Stay tuned….
And I am back! The show went great! I’m working with Red, Will Krolowitz, Geoff LaFluer, and Nick Gaza. I had a blast. I hope to get a picture of all of us to throw up on this site before the weekend is over. (that didn’t happen) Attitude after the show: Satisfaction and relief. I am actually watching the tape of my set right now, (thanks for taping my set, Will) I haven’t done this in a while. I used to ALWAYS tape my shows, and review them when I got home. That is a good habit and one I should get back into. It has just been nice not bothering with the stress of setting up a camera and being out of the way, and having a full battery, etc. I tell ya I am excited for October through December, actually through January because I have a LOT of roadwork coming up. That will be really nice. I have recently been doing local stuff and travelling non-comedy related. Anyway, tonight was fun. Not a lot else is new. Okay, I am going to finish watching my set and do some writing. Oh, a special shout out to Kathy and John Deely for coming out to the show to support me! It was great having you there. Same goes for David G and his wife. I know my comedy wasn’t too “dark,” but I hope you liked it.
