Holy cow, I am tired.  I just arrived at the hotel in Johnson City, TN.  I think I am either going to crash for a bunch of hours or go to Perkins, get some breakfast and work on some material for my Thursday show at Marquette.  I am very excited for this show.  When I was at Marquette, I was such a madman.  I wrote and produced a show 2 months after putting on a completely different show!  Both almost an hour.  Granted, it was a bit more amatuer, but they were huge successes!  I had a blast and people had fun.  I sort of feel quite a bit of pressure for this next one.  This next one will be my 6th major show at Marquette.  I am really excited for it, though.  It will be interesting because pretty much every one that knew me when I did them has graduated.  I think a lot of the show is being advertised targeting the Studio 013 Refugees audience as they are opening the show.  Then my 4th favorite friend, Conor Sterbenz, is doing some stand up before I go up.  It should be a fun show.  I know it will just be a blast.  Those show really are spoilers because the Marquette crowds are so awesome.  I am excited to do a lot of polished tested material, but even more excited to come up with and use totally new stuff.  I hope the place fills up.  I guess we’ll see.  I hear it is being advertised really well so that is exciting.

It has been a strange week for me as I have received a lot of great news comedy career-wise this week, but I also found out that a friend of mine passed away Saturday.  I really don’t know what to say about it still.  I still feel like it hasn’t hit me.  Cheryl was very close with some of my best friends and I had just talked to her not too long ago.  She was a great person, she will be missed by so many people, and she is definitely in a better place.
