There really is nothing more rewarding than realizing that over the last 24 hours, you haven’t moved from your couch.  I think I am going to reward myself for having such a productive day by eating an entire Red Baron deep dish pizza all by myself.  I not only watched probably close to 9 hours of LOST season one, but I also watched a bit of that big football game that was on.  I think it is neat how they have some of the football helmets mic-ed for when they are in a huddle, but I must say I was rather disappointed at what the people with the mic-ed helmets had to say.  I entertained my lonely self by muting the tv and doing my own voice over at the huddle shots.  “Guys, good job on that last play.  Man, that was cool!  Timmy, did you see how far I threw the football.  Man, there was a second right before I got tackled where I thought, ‘Man, it sure would be funny if I just turned around and threw this ball the other way to nobody.’ but then I didn’t.  Ready, break!”   The commercials were kinda funny.  I still like that snickers bald guy commercial more than anything.  I am also curious to see what people thought of the halftime show.  At the risk of being unpopular, I must admit that its not a good sign when halfway through the halftime show, I start flipping channels and stop on another station playing a boring car commercial that I have already seen just because I am that uninterested.  What do I think would make a great halftime show, you ask?!?  Two words: Wayne Brady!

Oh, I would like to personally thank every single person that came to our Gentlemen’s Hour show on Friday night.  What a success!!  Thank so much everyone.   That was a great night.  I apologize to those of you who came that I didn’t get to say hi to afterward.  We had to do a quick clean up and some of you had left before I got out.  Thank you, thank you!  That night was so fun.  It was a great first show for us.  We are looking to have another one probably in a couple of months.  We will keep you all posted for sure.  It was quite the learning experience as well.  I learned that I suck.  “Have you two ever heard of a little place called…………. Chippewa County??”  I was actually a lot more nervous before that show than I had been in a while.  It was such a rush, though.  We cannot wait to get another show out there.  We are brainstorming and writing right now hoping to raise the bar for our shows!

It sure is fun getting drunk, but doing it too many nights in a row sure can be draining.  I got a wee bit drunk after the show with all my friends, then last night went to a surprise party for my friend, Courtney.  Holy cow, was she surprised.  It’s pretty scary when you shout, “SUUURPISE!!!” and then watch your good friend fall down the stairs in shock!  Ha, that didn’t actually happen, thank God, but it was close.  Anyway, congrats, Courtney on your new house and your MBA, honkey!
